Happy Chat is a group for people living with mental health issues such as schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression, as well as their carers.

"We don't try and solve the world's problems, it's a matter of being there for one another and sometimes we can help point each other in the right direction," she said.

"You don't have to do it alone, everything is easier when you share it with other people who've walked it before."

Happy Chat Peer Support Group meets every Tuesday from 10.30am-noon at 15 Hilton St, Stanthorpe.
